Children in Need

Children in the poorest areas of Nicaragua rarely make it to 5th grade due to their family's need to survive. Because income is so desperately low, many children are forced to leave school in order to help their family make enough money to eat. In order to break the cycle of poverty, HIS believes education is key. We provide a way for families to keep their children in school.
